A large pair of French ormolu-mounted sevres-style porcelain vases and cover, with ornamented cobalt-blue domed lid surmounted with ormolu pinecone finial, above a waisted cobalt-blue neck ornamented with gilt scrollwork, both painted with continuous miniature view after the paintings of François Boucher, one depicts a full surrounding view of the painting "A Summer Pastoral, circa 1749", the other vase shows in front the painting "Are They Thinking About the Grape, circa 1747" and to the reverse the painting "Lovers in a Park, circa 1758", the shoulder flanked by fine cast ormolu acanthus-scrolled handles with suspending rings and laurel wreath, raised on an gilt foliate ornamented cobalt-blue conforming socle and square shaped base with foliate cartouche.
